2025 Celebrations
HOPE Values…All People without Exception
- Finalized the AV upgrade in the main sanctuary.
- Hosted new member (8) meals and strengthened contact with guests.
- Handed out over 400 free root beer floats during River Falls Days.
- Increased our Face Book engagement.
- Led prayer web activity during River Falls Earthfest.
- Committed to being a host at the River Falls Chamber’s new teacher breakfast.
- Hosted public movie night, invited Backpack Program families.
- Installed security cameras for safety.
HOPE Values…Serving Generously
- Created new paraments and banners to enhance the worship experience.
- Thoroughly cleaned and reorganized the kitchen.
- Researched, purchased and setup new office PC.
- Made and distributed 80 teddy bears for kids in crisis in our communities.
- Provided gifts for a Turning Point family,
- Collected hygiene and food for the Cats Clawset.
- Raised over $18,000 for Alaska tsunami relief impacting indigenous communities.
- Gave $160,000 which surpassed the JumpStart campaign goals.
HOPE Values…Spiritual Nourishment
- Hosted first bluegrass worship.
- Easter choir opportunity.
- Created our HOPE Values and added to the website.
- Increased adult participation with Wednesday’s of HOPE via meal hosts.
- Participated in community learning experiences and recruited leaders to facilitate adult learning in 2026.
- First all child Christmas program since 2019.
- Made the Gratitude Brunch into a tradition.
- Youth attended Synod retreat.
HOPE Values…Our Connection with Creation
- Received NWSWI Mission Endowment Fund Grant to install Community Prayer Path and installed Welcome Arbors.
- Installed bat boxes.
- Completed 2 more phases of prairie restoration: burning and seeding.
- Used leftover/recycled fabric and yarn for teddy bears and prayer web.
- Initiated relationship with facility advisor for UWRF Asi Ani (indigenous students organization).
- Maintained building and church properties.
